Hello!

My name is April Colburn.   I am a Freelance Graphic Designer from Western New York.  It is really great to have a job I am passionate about.  I love all kinds of design projects no matter how small.  It indulges my need to obsess over fonts & colors & composition.  Fun Stuff!!  I especially love to do book covers, posters and illustrations.  That super creative stuff that I don't get to do every day!!

I have over 10 years of experience working as a graphic designer.  I'm especially good in Photoshop, Illustrator & In Design.  My absolute favorite thing is illustration.  I began drawing in high school and took fine arts classes for a while in college.  I would be eager to hear about any design or illustration projects you have need of.  Check out the gallery section for examples of my work.

I branched out on my own in June 2012.  I really love having my own little business.  It has been fun working with new clients on the types of projects I'm most interested in, but the best part is being able to work in my pajamas!  Total Freedom!!
